Overhaul of the bridge crossing over the Rata River in Velikie Mosty at km 137+155 of the state road R-15 Kovel – Volodymyr-Volynskyi – Chervonograd – Zhovkva is starting.
On Tuesday, September 5, from 2:00 p.m., in connection with the repair of the bridge, we will close the road on the section of road P-15 within the settlement of Velyki Mosty.
Bypassing the repair site for passenger vehicles will be possible along the local route along Staromostivska Street and along the O-140601 Rava-Ruska-Hayok road section. A route is provided for freight transport: road O-141604 Chervonograd-Peretoky – T-14-10 Brody-Chervonograd – H-17 Lviv-Radekhiv-Lutsk – R-84 Bibrka – Kamianka-Buzka – Zhovkva – Horodok – Mykolaiv – Zhydachiv – Kalush – Burshtyn, according to the scheme we attach to this message.
“The reinforced concrete crossing was built in 1960. The length of the building is more than 62 meters. Due to the significant load on the structure for 63 years, its main elements began to collapse. The situation is also affected by a significant increase in traffic. According to the results of the survey of the bridge, which was carried out in June 2021, the bridge was recognized as emergency. As of today, the period of trouble-free operation has expired. Further operation of the structure may lead to its destruction,” says Oleg Bereza, head of the Service for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure in the Lviv region.
During the repair process, we will carry out the following works:
– we will prepare the territory for construction and dismantle the existing bridge;
– arrange supports;
– arrange a running structure;
– we will install a new asphalt concrete surface;
– we will carry out work on the approaches to the bridge;
– we will arrange the lighting of the bridge crossing;
– we will apply road markings;
– let’s install signs.
According to the project, the new bridge crossing will have two lanes of traffic, sidewalks and lighting will be installed on both sides of the bridge.
We plan to complete the repair of the bridge at the end of this fall.
We advise drivers to plan their route in advance and follow the requirements of the temporary road signs.
