The day before, on January 24, there was a threat of a cruise missile strike from the territory of Belarus. The air alert lasted 40 minutes, the danger did not materialize.
This was announced by the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi. However, this morning the sirens sounded again for an air alert. A-50, SU-30, MIG-31 aircraft, which are the carriers of the “Daggers”, took off in Belarus. The head of the region called on the residents of Lviv region to stay in shelters until there is a signal for a retreat.
Yesterday in Lviv Oblast, it was reported that 12 educational institutions and a polyclinic were bombed. About 1,600 people were evacuated during the inspection. No explosive objects were found.
Also, another 71 people from the number of IDPs arrived in Lviv Oblast by evacuation trains during the day.
