As of 1 October, Lviv region ranks 9th among Ukrainian regions in terms of tax revenues to the general budget fund compared to the same period last year.
In general, the growth in all local budgets is 24.4 per cent, in our region – 23.7 per cent.
This was stated by Ivan Sobko, Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration. “Compared to 1 September, we have lost one position in the ranking.
Lviv region’s position in terms of the dynamics of land payment revenues – fourth, personal income tax – eighth, corporate income tax – also eighth – can be considered quite acceptable.
At the same time, our positions in terms of excise tax revenues (23rd place), real estate tax (22nd place), and single tax (16th place) leave much to be desired.
“Obviously, the aforementioned not very encouraging trends in certain taxes cause some concern and require more attention and more effective measures on the part of local governments and fiscal authorities of Lviv region,” Ivan Sobko concluded.
