On May 24-26, the “Advocacy Academy” will be held in Lviv with the support of the Unity for Action program!

NUMO representatives of public organizations, initiative groups, groups of IDPs and host communities, activists who work with IDPs or take care of the issues and interests of IDPs from the Chervonograd district at the Advocacy Academy.

The Advocacy Academy is a three-day practical intensive, where together with legal experts you will go through important cycles of training for advocacy and human rights activities, so after the program ends, you will have ready-made plans that you can put into practice.

And the Academy is:

A rich and intensive three-day program with interactive sessions.
An opportunity to improve the understanding of advocacy as a tool to influence decision-making in power.
An opportunity to develop a plan of advocacy activity that will be ready for implementation.
The opportunity to become part of a network of active people who promote the rights and interests of IDPs in Ukraine and contribute to social changes in the community.
To be changemakers and bring our country closer to victory.
The opportunity to apply for grant funding for your advocacy activity.

Teams of public organizations, initiative groups, groups of IDPs and host communities, activists who work with IDPs and already have a certain background in advocacy, as well as specific tasks to protect and promote the interests of IDPs at the local or national levels, are invited to participate. Teams must consist of at least 2 people and no more than 5. Also, you can try to find like-minded people, or submit an individual application and we will try to combine you into a team.

Selection will take place only from representatives of Lviv and Ternopil regions. Submitting an application to the academy confirms your consent to mandatory participation during the training program. The United for Action program provides participants with logistics and accommodation. The program reserves the right not to explain or announce reasons for refusal to registered participants.
