The traffic accident occurred on August 28, around 8:40 p.m., at the intersection of Zamarstinivska and Detka streets in Lviv.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, there was a collision between a Land Rover driven by a 58-year-old man from Kyiv and an Audi A4 driven by a 22-year-old man from Lviv. After that, the Land Rover collided with a Skoda Fabia driven by a 29-year-old man from Lviv.
As a result of the accident, the passenger of the Audi A4, a 22-year-old woman from Lviv, sustained injuries and was taken to a medical facility.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
