On August 18, the Chervonograd City Council held a round table discussion on the specifics of providing social services in the Chervonograd Territorial Community for victims of the armed conflict in Ukraine in 2022 with the participation of representatives of local authorities, heads of social services and members of the Caritas Kramatorsk Charitable Foundation.
The day before, BF “Caritas Kramatorsk” signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Chervonograd City Territorial Community and has been conducting its activities on its territory for several months. Both internally displaced persons and local socially vulnerable sections of the population are being harassed.
The participants of the meeting established interaction between the social services of the city council and the charitable foundation within the framework of social services advocacy. They discussed a number of topical issues related to assistance to internally displaced persons, provision of their social guarantees.
“We want to integrate into the Chervonograd community in order to provide services not only to IDPs, but also to the local population, to those who need it the most,” said advocacy specialist Alina Neystadt. We understand that the burden on local authorities is quite large today, and therefore we are ready for close cooperation.”
