Lviv region: rescuers free man born in 1963 from deformed body as a result of an accident
On July 23, at 15:16, the Rescue Service “101” received a report that in the village of Porichchya, Lviv district, two cars had collided, namely an Opel Astra and a DAF XF 460 FT truck.
Rescuers from Horodok and the village of Velykyi Lubin were sent to the scene. As it turned out at the scene, the driver, a man born in 1963, was trapped in the car and needed medical attention.
Using special tools, the rescuers unclamped the deformed structures of the Opel Astra and freed the man, after which they handed him over to paramedics who hospitalized the victim in serious condition at St. Panteleimon Hospital in Lviv.
Seven rescuers and two units of special equipment were engaged to eliminate the consequences of the accident.
