On March 25, at 2:58 p.m., rescuers received a report about a fire in the city of Lviv on the street Kulparkivska, 135 on the fourth floor of a nine-story residential building in one of the apartments.
Rescuers from the 4th State Fire and Rescue Department of Lviv were sent to the scene.
At the time of emergency personnel’s arrival at the scene, smoke was coming out of the apartment. The stairwell was also filled with smoke. Emergency personnel put on special apparatus for the protection of respiratory and vision organs and began to extinguish the fire.
In order to guarantee people’s safety, the rescuers helped 80 residents of the building get out into the fresh air.
The fire was contained at 3:13 p.m. and extinguished at 3:17 p.m. by the gas and smoke protection service unit.
The fire destroyed household items on an area of 2 sq.m., damaged a gas stove and floor on an area of 1 sq.m.
2 units of special equipment and 8 personnel were involved in extinguishing the fire.
