With the assistance of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, sets of special devices – infusion syringe pumps, infusion machines – were delivered to the Lviv Region.
The medical equipment was donated by the Ukrainians in the Netherlands-Oekraïners in Nederland foundation. Thanks to the “Let’s Help Together” public initiative, the devices were delivered to four children’s hospitals.
“Modern equipment in the hands of professionals saves life and health. First, we asked regional and city hospitals and informed them that we have such medical devices. After just a few minutes, we received requests from institutions that need this modern equipment. We are sincerely grateful to our partners and hope that this technology will help doctors in their daily work and facilitate the process of treating children,” said Yuriy Bezkorovainy, head of the “Let’s Help Together” NGO.
So, infusion machines were received by: Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital, West Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Center, Lviv Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital “Okhmatdyt” and Communal City Children’s Clinical Hospital on Orlyk.
These devices are designed for metered administration of small volumes of medication during treatment. Accurate medication administration is critical when dealing with the smallest patients.
