In total, more than 1,500 candles and 1,900 lighters have been sent from the two communities.

The youth of Hlynytsi village gather daily at the People’s House to make trench candles for the military. Last week they sent about 300 trench candles to the front line.

This week, the boys and girls have already prepared more than 300 candles for pouring. In total, young people have sent about 1000 trench candles to Ukrainian soldiers. In addition, yesterday the young volunteers started weaving camouflage nets for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

A “Workshop of Warmth” is operating in the People’s House of Ternopil village of Trostyanets community. Local children are making trench candles and fire starters for our defenders.

Today, 146 trench candles and about 1900 pieces of fire starters have been sent to our defenders.

“We are sincerely grateful to the kids for their much-needed work. We thank everyone who contributed to this noble cause! Our support is the best way to show our soldiers that we remember them, especially in this cold season,” said the Stryi RVA.
