Videos devoted to the topic of preserving natural biodiversity were submitted to the competition.
Over the course of a month, all volunteers sent applications and competitive works about the territories and objects of the nature reserve fund of the region to the “Ecofocus on the Environment” competition. Therefore, the winners were:
Sofia Pavlyukh (video clip about the 19th century Park in Pustomyty);
Poshivak Roman (video about Sambir Park in Sambir);
Khrystyna Hrytsai (video about the “Northern Podillia” NPP);
Oksana Fedyshyn (video about storks within the Skolivski Beskydy National Park);
Sophia Tkach and Sutulina Vladylena (video about the Botanical Garden of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv).
Video clips devoted to the preservation of natural biodiversity, in particular, territories and objects of the nature reserve fund of the Lviv region, were submitted to the competition. The main message of the works was a call to preserve the environment. Therefore, the results were announced symbolically today, July 7, on the Day of the Worker of Nature and Conservation Affairs of Ukraine. In the near future, the winners will be on a trip to one of the national natural parks of the Lviv Region.
According to the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of LOVA, as of today, 413 territories and objects of the nature reserve fund with an area of 181.8 thousand hectares are functioning in Lviv region, which have a special environmental, scientific, aesthetic, recreational and other value.
