For internally displaced children, an excursion “Getting to know Yavoriv region together” was held

Yesterday, July 13, within the framework of the “Together” children’s point project for children whose families became forced migrants due to Russian aggression, the Social Services Center of the Novoyavoriv City Council organized an excursion to the Novoyavoriv Regional History Museum “Getting to Know the Yavoriv Region Together”.

“The goal of this project is to involve children in the history of Yavoriv district, distract them from everyday news and bring bright colors to life. After all, children should live happily. Our task is to do everything so that they are happy” – shares the head of the center for providing social services of the NMR, Oksana Bilan-Zvizlo. Therefore, for the children who found shelter in the Novoyavoriv community, they presented a story about the artistic heritage, the Yavoriv toy, and the traditions of the Yavoriv region. The meeting took place in the form of a dialogue, the children had a good time with positive emotions and sincere enthusiasm

It should be noted that the #Children’s_Points_TOGETHER_with_UNICEF project is implemented in partnership with the Ukrainian Educational Platform of UNICEF. Within the framework of this project, the center’s social work specialists, together with teachers, systematically conduct similar events for IDP children.
