For the period of martial law, tenants of communal property will pay 30% less, and FOP-defenders of Ukraine are exempt from rent. This decision was made by deputies of the city council during the regular session session.
Therefore, for the period of martial law and for three months after its termination or cancellation, but in any case until December 31, 2022, under communal property lease agreements in force as of February 24, 2022 or concluded after that date based on the results auctions held on February 24, 2022 or earlier decided:
- to release from the rent of tenants of communal property of natural persons and natural persons – entrepreneurs who were called up or accepted for military service after the declaration of martial law;
- exempt from rent tenants who use property located in cultural and educational institutions, if the leased object was leased on an hourly basis (no longer than September 30, 2022)
- tenants are charged a rent in the amount of 70 percent of the amount of rent established by the lease agreement (taking into account its indexation).
