A two-year-old boy from Bakhmut was temporarily sheltered in a Lviv foster family

A temporary family was found for a two-year-old boy from Bakhmut in Lviv, as his parents are hospitalized. For some time the boy was in the Dnipro hospital, then he was evacuated to Lviv. This was reported in the city office “Service for Children”.

The boy’s parents were injured because a Russian shell exploded near their home. So the employees of the city office “Service for Children” found a temporary family for the child who will take care of him.

The administration said that the parents constantly communicate with the foster carer and their son. The foster carer visits a rehabilitator and a speech therapist with the child. The boy got along well with the children in this family: they like to play and spend time together. As soon as the parents feel well enough, they can take their son.

“We are once again convinced of the extent to which patronage of a child is a useful and necessary business. After all, instead of being placed in an institutional care facility, the child is in an atmosphere of family comfort and care,” said the “Children’s Service” office of the LMR.

It should be noted that there are currently four children under patronage in Lviv.
