The head of LOVA inspected the infrastructure of Skhidnytsia damaged by bad weather

The head of the Lviv region inspected the progress of restoration of damaged bridges and talked with people whose houses were in the epicenter of flooding.

Today, June 13, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration was on a working visit to Skhidnytsia, during which he inspected the damaged objects in the community as a result of the bad weather that was there the day before.

“I inspected the progress of the restoration of other damaged bridges, talked to people whose houses were at the epicenter of the flooding. The situation is difficult, but we have to get through it. The damage is still being calculated. It will take at least two weeks to completely eliminate the effects of the bad weather and arrange the crossings. At the moment, getting detours are needed,” Maksym Kozytskyi noted.

He also said that the communally owned bridge, which provided access to Novy Krapyvnyk, was completely destroyed.

“Local residents are forced to cross the river through temporarily installed girders. While at the scene, I offered to transfer the section of this road to the balance of the Service for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure in the Lviv region in order to restore the crossing as soon as possible,” – summarized the head of the Lviv region.
