These are compensations for utilities consumed by municipal property during the free stay of internally displaced persons.
Lviv region received over UAH 3 million in compensation. This refers to compensation for utilities consumed during the free stay of internally displaced persons in the premises of municipal property in April this year. This was announced by Oleg Demkiv, Director of the Finance Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
The funds for this purpose came from the reserve fund of the state budget and were allocated to local budgets. In particular, the following received compensation:
- Lviv community – UAH 1.0 million;
- Turka community – UAH 0.2 million;
- Chervonohrad community – UAH 0.1 million;
- Radekhiv community – UAH 0.1 million;
- Skole community – UAH 0.1 million, and others.
In addition, regional institutions were also compensated for their expenses:
- social protection – UAH 0.6 million
- education – UAH 0.4 million;
- healthcare – UAH 0.1 million.
Oleg Demkiv also adds that consolidated registers have been prepared and information on compensation for May has been submitted to the Ministry of Reintegration. The expected amount of compensation is UAH 2.5 million.
