The number of people willing to become electric transport drivers in Lviv is growing

For the first time in the last four years, Lvivelectrotrans has managed to simultaneously recruit full groups for training as tram and trolleybus drivers.

In just two weeks, the groups are almost full: one place is left in the tram driver group and three in the trolleybus driver group. Those interested are advised not to miss their chance and apply. Future drivers are promised official employment, a full social package and a stable salary.

“We saw similar activity last time in 2020, when many people lost their jobs due to the quarantine. Now we have those who consciously choose the profession of electric vehicle driver and are ready to grow with us,” Lvivelectrotrans comments.

Training starts in the second half of November. The courses, which last for three months, are free of charge: two months of theory and one month of practical training.

Upon successful completion of their studies, graduates are offered official employment with a salary of UAH 25,000 to 35,000, as well as

Tram or trolleybus driving licences are valid throughout Ukraine, so graduates will be able to work not only in Lviv but also in other cities.

It should be noted that LKP currently has 40 vacancies for tram drivers and 30 for trolleybus drivers. In addition, there are about 100 vacancies for bus drivers in the city’s ATP-1.
