LeoKart popular among Lviv passengers: 70% use cards

According to LKP ‘Lvivavtodor’, 70% of public transport users in Lviv pay for their rides using LeoKart cards. These cards include general, student, pupil, and preferential options. In total, residents have already issued over 472,000 LeoKarts.

The director of LKP ‘Lvivavtodor’, Mykola Vlasyuk, noted that more and more passengers are choosing LeoKart for cost-effective travel.

A ride with LeoKart costs 13 UAH when paid with a general card or via the mobile app and 6.5 UAH when using a student card. Preferential users and pupils ride for free. Additionally, free transfers are available for transport card and mobile app holders.

Payment with a bank card is 15 UAH per ride, and a paper ticket from the driver costs 25 UAH. In Lviv, 92% of passengers pay for rides cashlessly.
