Already from Saturday, April 1, the season of summer playgrounds begins in Lviv, which will last until November 1. As reported in the Department of Architecture and Urbanism of the LMR, the process of issuing permits for the placement of open summer playgrounds is ongoing. Usually, up to 500 permits are issued each year.
“The summer playground is a seasonal facility that operates from April 1 to November 1. Therefore, by April 1, the owners of open spaces apply to us for obtaining permits for placement.
If the site has already functioned in previous years, and the permit has already expired (it is issued for a period of 1-3 years), then the owner applies for an extension of this period, here the procedure is simpler.
If the site starts work for the first time, the owner first turns to us for architectural and artistic requirements, and develops a project based on them. If it is about placement in the central part of the city, then this project is also agreed with the Department of Historical Environment Protection, after which they turn to us again for permission. We issue a passport for the operation of the site, and already with this document you should apply to the communal property management to conclude a lease agreement,” explains the Department of Architecture and Urbanism of the LMR.
We would like to remind you that the procedure for obtaining permits for the installation of summer playgrounds is stipulated by the resolution of the Lviv City Council No. 2452 dated 05.03.2009.
