The Lviv community supports the defenders. Today, thanks to citizens’ taxes, two more cars were handed over to the military. This will help them in the performance of combat missions.
In particular, the 14th separate rifle battalion was given a Volkswagen Amarok pickup worth UAH 870,000. And the “Azov” regiment was given a Ford F pickup, worth almost UAH 1.4 million.
This assistance was provided at the request of the military as part of the city-wide program of support for defenders, adopted at the session of the Lviv City Council.
We will remind you that by the end of the year, Lviv will increase spending on the army to 2 billion hryvnias. As of today, about 13.5% of the entire city budget goes to support the military. It is expected that by the end of the year it will be 16% and will amount to 2.1 billion hryvnias. This is the largest amount of funds since independence.
