Lviv Oblast was visited by military attachés and their deputies from 13 allied states of Ukraine

These are representatives of the Kyiv Association of Military Attachés.

On May 25, representatives of the Kyiv Association of Military Attaches accredited in Ukraine visited Lviv Oblast. These are military attachés and their deputies from 13 allied states of Ukraine and the EU.

In particular, during the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the work of the Academy of Ground Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny. It is one of the leading educational institutions in the system of military education of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It trains officers of the ground forces.

During the visit, Lviv region was presented by the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi. He thanked the present military attachés and their deputies from Austria, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey and Finland.

“On behalf of Lviv OVA and every resident of the region and Ukraine, I thank your countries for helping our state in this war. Your visit is an important testimony of support for the just struggle of our people for their independence and a vivid proof of the respect of European military diplomacy for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I am also grateful to the Academy of Ground Forces for the professional training of officers for the reliable protection of our state,” said the head of the Lviv Oblast.

Those present also honored the memory of Ukrainian soldiers who died for the territorial integrity and freedom of Ukraine.

Kyiv Association of Military Attachés (KAVA) is an association founded in December 1992 that unites 42 military attache units. The main goal of the organization is to support communication between its members, as well as with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, other governmental and public organizations.
