The Lviv City Council supported the allocation of 100 million hryvnias for liquidation of the consequences of the night shelling of the city

The session of the city council supported the amendments to the resolution “On making changes to the budget of the Lviv City Territorial Community for 2023”, which provide for the transfer of UAH 100 million to the reserve fund of the budget for liquidation of the consequences of night shelling of the city. Also, UAH 10 million will be allocated for business voucher support.

As Andriy Moskalenko, the first deputy mayor of Lviv, explained, out of these 100 million UAH, 60 million UAH will be allocated to district administrations and departments of housing and communal services, 4.5 million UAH will be allocated to educational institutions, and 500 thousand UAH will be allocated to health care institutions. and UAH 10 million for institutions-subjects of entrepreneurial activity to eliminate the consequences of night shelling.

“We will also allocate funds for the affected regime facilities,” explained Andriy Moskalenko, the first deputy mayor of Lviv.

We will remind, that night at 02:06 an air alert began in Lviv. Later, a series of explosions rang out in the city. As a result, during the night attack, a Russian missile hit an apartment building.

35 buildings were destroyed, two of them are in critical condition, and approximately 60 apartments were destroyed. More than 1000 windows need to be replaced. There are also destructions in educational institutions, dormitories of NU “Lviv Polytechnic”, a large office center nearby was destroyed. About 57 cars were damaged.
