On Monday, 8 July, Kyiv’s Okhmatdyt medical facility was hit by a Russian missile attack.
The Lviv Regional Clinical Perinatal Centre has donated UAH 100,000 to the Okhmatdyt – Healthy Childhood Charitable Foundation of the Kyiv-based Okhmatdyt.
This was reported in the social media of the Lviv medical institution.
As reported, on 8 July, Okhmatdyt in Kyiv was subjected to a Russian missile attack. The missile damaged the toxicology and oncology departments, intensive care and operating theatres. At the time of the strike, there were 627 children in the hospital, eight of whom were injured and two adults were killed. Among them was Svitlana Lukyanchyk, a nephrologist originally from Lviv. Yesterday, on 10 July, she was laid to rest.
Yesterday, it was also reported that a little boy who was in critical condition in the intensive care unit of Okhmatdyt at the time of the missile attack had died. In total, five more children were among the victims of the Russian shelling of the Ukrainian capital that day.
