The “Lviv Fanfare” orchestra performed a real cultural marathon: the team of the Lviv Children’s Art School No. 5 visited 6 international brass band festivals in France in 2.5 weeks.
As the head of the school of arts, Andriyan Leskiv, told, the orchestra members visited 6 international festivals of brass bands in the cities of Digne-les-Bains, St. Shelly, Dax, Mende, Montreux, Camo.
In total, the musicians traveled about 7 thousand kilometers, gave 31 concerts, performed for a total of about 45 hours (and spent another 20 in rehearsals).
Also, the “Lviv fanfare” collective met with the French, who in the first months of the full-scale war delivered cargo with humanitarian aid to Lviv.
