Three cars burned down in Lviv region yesterday – one man died

In Lviv region, firefighters responded three times to car fires, one of which claimed a life

 

On August 12, at 13:16, rescuers received a report of a fire in the city of Sambir, Sambir district, in a Volkswagen Passat. The engine compartment was on fire over an area of 1.5 square meters. The fire was localized at 13:26 and eliminated at 13:29 by rescuers of the 12th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Sambir. The car was saved. No one was injured in the fire.

On the same day, at 17:13, a fire was reported in the village of Orov, Drohobych district, in an open area. Hay and a Mitsubishi Rajero car were burning. Unfortunately, the body of the owner, born in 1969, was found in the burning car. The fire was localized at 17:40 and eliminated at 18:23. The cause of the fire is currently being established by law enforcement.

In the evening of the same day, at 21:38, rescuers received a report of a fire near the village of Rozvadiv, Stryi district, on the Kyiv-Chop highway in a VAZ 2105. The driver tried to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher, but only rescuers managed to completely extinguish the fire at 21:52. The fire destroyed the engine compartment over an area of 1 square meter. The car was saved. Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire.
