The State Border Guard Service effectively uses the database of the International Criminal Police Organization Interpol.
In particular, yesterday, servicemen of the Lviv detachment found a stolen car.
A resident of the capital was driving a Toyota car to a neighboring country. During the border control, the database was triggered. As the border guards found out, the vehicle with Ukrainian registration was stolen on the territory of our country in March of last year.
Based on this fact, the border guards immediately informed the Ukrburo of Interpol in Kyiv and received confirmation of the information about the car. In the end, the vehicle and the driver were handed over to the National Police.
