During the day on duty from 3 to 4 December, 10 fires were registered. Firefighters managed to save 4 buildings from destruction by fire.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Lviv Region.
Two men were rescued from fires on Gamaleya Street in Lviv, and a man died in the village of Zymna Voda.
❗️ Rescuers of Lviv region emphasise the importance of following fire safety rules in our daily lives.
- Do not smoke in bed;
- try to avoid overloading the power grid, do not switch on high-powered household appliances at the same time;
- Do not leave the fireplace or stove unattended;
- Do not dry clothes close to heaters or open flames to avoid fire.
- Keep an eye on the condition and serviceability of the power supply;
- Do not leave electrical appliances switched on when leaving the premises;
- Do not leave young children unattended and do not allow them to play with matches;
☝️ Remember that almost every fire is preventable!
