From the beginning of martial law, which was imposed in accordance with the Decrees of the President of Ukraine from 24.02.2022 №64 / 2022 “On the imposition of martial law in Ukraine”, from 23.05.2022 №341 / 2022 “On the extension of martial law in Ukraine”, on car On the roads of Lviv region, mass construction of checkpoints for checking cars and driver’s documents has begun.
As of today, the regional military administration has determined the list of official checkpoints that operate on public roads in Lviv region. However, the construction of non-functioning checkpoints without appropriate road and identification signs remained on the roads and within the lane of public roads of local significance, which creates dangerous situations.
In connection with the above, the Lviv Regional Military Administration to ensure road safety on public roads of local importance, requests together with the heads of local communities: to dismantle the structures of inactive roadblocks and within the lane and install all dismantled road signs on public roads of local importance.
