Today, March 17, the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region, police general of the third rank, Oleksandr Shlyakhovsky, signed memorandums of cooperation with the heads of the Dobromyl and Mostyska territorial communities.
The heads of the mentioned communities, Petro Kulyas and Myroslava Pelts, undertook to arrange workplaces for law enforcement officers at police stations. The police of the Lviv region, in turn, undertakes to conduct the selection and training of candidates, to provide them with the necessary equipment and special equipment for the provision of quality police services. In particular, a competition for the positions of police officers in the mentioned communities is currently underway.
We would like to remind you that the “Community Police Officer” project, which is implemented in Lviv Oblast, is an example of a new format of law enforcement officers’ work, which involves their constant presence in communities, close cooperation with leaders and the population, and accountability to the community.
Today, 29 police stations opened as part of this initiative are operating in the region.
