Water bodies safe for swimming have been identified in the Lviv Region: list

Until June 15, inspections continued at water facilities in the region in order to start the summer recreation season on time.

The decision of the Regional Commission on TEB and National Emergency approved the list of places for mass recreation of the population on water bodies of the Lviv region. A total of 23 beaches were identified on 18 water bodies, which were previously examined by commissions of local self-government bodies with the involvement of specialists from the Emergency Services of Ukraine.

They checked, first of all, the presence of acts of inspections of the underwater part of the beach, the engineering equipment of places of rest, compliance with current sanitary regulations, the presence of a rescue post, etc.

Specialists of the Central Diving and Rescue Service in the Lviv Region surveyed the underwater beach area at 21 of the identified 23 mass recreation sites. During inspections, a number of facilities were found to be not ready to receive vacationers.

So, as of today, there are 15 beaches on 12 reservoirs that are ready for safe bathing for vacationers, namely:

At the rest of the facilities, work is ongoing to eliminate the identified deficiencies until they are ready to receive vacationers.
