A moose fell into a pit on Stepan Bandera Street on the outskirts of Chervonohrad and was unable to get to the surface on its own.
Employees of the water utility, together with a team from the State Emergency Service, used a tractor to pull the animal out of the 2.5-metre-deep pit, said Andriy Dyachenko, head of the Chervonohrad District Water Authority.
