Sambir district: firefighters saved a residential building from being destroyed by fire
On October 18, at 17:33, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the village of Strashevichi of Sambir district. The fire started in the Volkswagen Golf car.
The rescuers of the 27th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Stary Sambir went to the scene of the incident.
By the time firefighters arrived at the scene, the car was completely engulfed in flames and the fire had already spread to the roof of a nearby residential building.
At 5:50 p.m., firefighters localized the fire and extinguished it at 6:15 p.m.
As a result of the fire, the fire destroyed a car and damaged the roof of a wooden residential building with an area of 20 square meters.
Firefighters managed to prevent the rapid spread of the fire and save the residential building from being completely destroyed by fire.
4 personnel and 1 unit of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
