Stryi district: a fire claimed the life of a 41-year-old man
On 08 July at 05:14, rescuers received a report of a fire in the village of Berezdivka, Stryi district, in a brick residential building.
Rescuers from the 11th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Novyi Rozdil were sent to the scene.
When the firefighters arrived at the scene, smoke was coming out of the windows, and upon entering the room, they saw a man who was taken out into the fresh air and began to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, but they were unable to save the man, born in 1983.
The fire destroyed household items over an area of 3 square metres. The building was saved.
Rescuers contained the fire at 05:31 and eliminated it at 05:42.
