On October 25, at 4:22 p.m., the Rescue Service “101” received a report that on the highway “Kyiv-Chop” in the city of Skole, on the street A Volkswagen Polo car and a Mercedes-Actros truck with a trailer collided in Knyaz Svyatoslav Street, Stryi district.
The rescuers of the 24th state fire and rescue unit of Skole went to the place of the call. When the rescuers arrived at the scene, it was found that the deceased driver, a man born in 1971, was trapped in the passenger car by the deformed structures of the car.
The rescuers used hydraulic clamps to unblock the dead man from the mutilated car and disconnected the battery of the truck.
4 personnel and 1 unit of special equipment were involved in liquidation of the consequences of the road accident. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the causes and circumstances of the accident.
