On April 24, at 20:21, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the village of Stary Yar of the Yavoriv district in a wooden and brick utility building, size 10×5 m.
Rescuers from the 23rd state fire-rescue unit of the city of Yavoriv and rescuers from the 54th state village fire-rescue post were sent to the scene. Nemiriv
The street leading to the scene was very narrow, so rescuers were unable to reach the scene. By the time firefighters arrived, the building was engulfed in flames. The fire spread to an adjacent building, where a domestic animal was located. There was also a threat of the fire spreading to neighboring buildings. However, rescuers managed to prevent the fire from spreading.
At 20:43 the fire was localized and at 21:57 it was extinguished. The fire destroyed the roof on the area of 50 square meters, the wooden part of the building on the area of 25 square meters, and 2 tons of coarse fodder.
Saved: 5 buildings and one domestic animal. 9 personnel and 2 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
No one was injured as a result of the fire. The reasons and circumstances of the event are being investigated by law enforcement agencies.
