This was reported by the head of the Lviv regional power distribution company, Maksym Kozytskyi.
Due to the bad weather, the number of settlements in the Lviv region without electricity supply has increased. As of this hour, there are 250 such towns and villages. Of these, 97 are completely cut off, and 153 are partially cut off.
The most affected are settlements in the Peremyshlyanska, Mostyska, Yavorivska and Sambirska communities. Work to restore power continues! Currently, 67 Lvivoblenergo crews are working, a total of 288 employees. In addition, 100 units of equipment have been deployed.
If you see a broken power grid, immediately report it to Lvivoblenergo: 0-800-30-15-68 (round-the-clock, free of charge) or other call centre numbers: 067-333-15-68, 050-460-15-68, 093-170-15-68, (032) 290-75-68.
We remind you not to come closer than 8 metres, as this can lead to a fatal electric shock. Walk away from the danger zone with a “goose step” – bring your feet together, keep them close to each other and the ground, and take small, sliding steps.
If trees or branches have fallen due to bad weather and there are injuries, call the emergency services: 101, 103 or 112.
