In the region, inspections of road transport enterprises are ongoing to ensure their readiness for the autumn-winter period.
This was reported by the Lviv Regional State Administration.
Today, employees of the Transport Directorate of the Road Department, together with employees of the State Supervision (Control) Department in Lviv Region of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety, inspected a private carrier, Tour-Auto, for compliance with the requirements of motor vehicle legislation when releasing buses for service.
As a result, they found that the driver did not have the necessary permits, which resulted in an administrative report for UAH 17,000.
“Drivers of road transport companies are required to undergo a daily medical examination before leaving the company, and the bus must be checked by a mechanic before leaving, which he makes a corresponding entry in the vehicle release log,” said Orest Shulikovsky, director of the road transport department at Lviv Regional State Administration.
