Drohobych Palace of Children and Youth Creativity donates four FPV drones for Ukraine’s defenders

The staff and pupils of the Drohobych Palace of Children and Youth Creativity continue to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For the money raised during charity concerts of the pupils, at sales fairs and thanks to donations from teachers, club members and parents, the institution managed to purchase four FPV drones for the soldiers defending Ukraine from the enemy.

The staff of the Bolekhiv Gymnasium also joined the good cause and raised funds for another drone.

So on 16 July, five warbirds were delivered to Lyubov Skalych, the mother of Nazar Skalych, a soldier with the 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The FPV drones were handed over by Drohobych Mayor Taras Kuchma, Director of the Youth and Sports Association of Ukraine Bohdan Prystai and pupils of the Charivna Sopilka Folk Ensemble (directed by Oresta Syvokhyp).

Petro Sheviak, Head of the Education Department, announced the charitable idea.

“Soon, the drones will help our brave defenders destroy the enemy.

We would like to add that last academic year, the staff of the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity already purchased and delivered six more FPV drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The organisers of the charity events express their gratitude to all those who support volunteer initiatives, join charity events and bring our victory closer.
