To remember and honor the fallen Heroes: Drohobych residents are called to pause when a minute of silence is heard in the morning

Due to the full-scale invasion of the occupiers, Ukraine suffers losses both among the military and the civilian population every day. According to the Presidential Decree, a national minute of silence and remembrance has been announced every day at 9:00 a.m. throughout the country.

In Drohobych, a minute of remembrance is announced from the tower of the Drohobych City Council.

The Department of Family and Youth, together with representatives of the Youth Council and schoolchildren of the city’s educational institutions, resumed the campaign “Stop, honor, remember!”. In the morning, schoolchildren go out to the central square of the city with posters in their hands and thereby call passers-by to stop for a minute and pay their respects to the fallen soldiers whose lives were cut short by the war.

After all, the memory of fallen defenders should live forever and be properly honored.
