300 aid packages distributed in Drohobych

The community of Drohobych continues to work actively to attract humanitarian aid for those who need it most. Thanks to international partners, it is possible to arrange additional assistance to such social categories as low-income families, families in difficult life circumstances, families with children with disabilities, the elderly, etc.

Recently, the Polish International Aid Centre Charitable Foundation, with the financial support of the government and people of Taiwan, sent another tranche of aid to Drohobych.

Today, on 12 July, the Department of Social Protection distributed the aid to IDPs with the status of large families, low-income families, families with children with disabilities, as well as some categories of residents of the Drohobych community.

A total of 300 packages of hygiene products were distributed.

This is the second time the Polish International Aid Centre has sent support to Drohobych and plans to continue its charitable cooperation with the Drohobych community. In June, the Foundation sent 400 packages of food parcels to the town of Kotermak.

As of today, 7999 people with official IDP status live in the Drohobych community. A total of 18,318 IDP certificates have been issued in the community since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Most of them have left, but more than a third have remained in the community and are building their future from scratch here.
