The Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, announced this on Facebook, Voice of Sokalshchyna reports.
“After a serious illness, Volodymyr Kvurt passed away. Volodymyr was probably known by all Lviv residents. He faithfully served his community. At one time, he worked as the mayor of Vynnyk and the secretary of the Lviv City Council,” the message reads.
They promise to announce the farewell ceremony later.

Volodymyr Kvurt is a Ukrainian politician, public figure, entrepreneur, deputy of the Lviv Regional Council of the 8th democratic convocation from the “European Solidarity” party, chairman of the permanent deputy commission on budget and socio-economic development. In the past, he was also the secretary of the Lviv City Council and the mayor of Vynnykiv.
