The deputy head of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office presented a lawsuit to the court regarding the claim of 5 land plots belonging to the “defense land” category. Their estimated value is more than UAH 3 billion.
They are located on the territory of the Sokal City Council, the total area of all plots is about 70 hectares.
Despite the fact that the illegality of classifying the disputed plot of land as agricultural land was confirmed by court decisions based on prosecutor’s claims, the Main Department of the State Geocadastre in Lviv region transferred it to communal ownership, which is expressly prohibited by law.
Proceedings were opened by the decisions of the Commercial Court of Lviv region. The trial is ongoing.
