Over the past day, emergency workers of the Lviv Oblast eliminated 12 dry grass fires. As a result of these fires, the fire destroyed more than 12,000 square meters of land.
So, in particular, 1 fire broke out in the Zolochiv district, 2 fires in the city of Lviv, 4 fires in the Lviv district, and 5 fires in the Chervonograd district.
In such a difficult time, in the conditions of martial law, deliberately destroying Ukraine, burning your land with dry grass is a CRIME!
In addition, setting fire to dry grass is punishable by law in the form of a fine:
for citizens from UAH 3,060 to UAH 6,120
for officials UAH 15,300 to UAH 21,420
The head office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region appeals to all residents of our region to stop burning dry matter, and remember, if you see arson, immediately notify the fire service and the police, regardless of the fact that the person who burned is your neighbor or acquaintance!
