As of the morning of January 22, 2025, varied hydrological activity was observed in the rivers of Lviv region. Most rivers belonging to the Dniester basin showed a slight increase in water level of 1 – 22 cm over the past day.
Features of the Hydrological Situation
In other rivers of the Lviv region, water level fluctuations were noted within 1 – 5 cm, with a predominant decrease. In addition, winter phenomena such as ice blocks and frazil ice persist in the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester, indicating continued cool weather in the region.
Water Temperature and Forecast
Water temperature in the region’s rivers varied from 0 to 4 degrees Celsius. According to the meteorological forecast, further fluctuations in water levels are expected in the coming days, with a predominant decline.
