Last weekend, our old friend from the German city of Paderborn, Mike Meine, came to Sokal again.
The benefactor again delivered humanitarian aid – medicines for our military, as well as medicines for patients of the Sokal hospital.
He visited the shelter in the village of Zhvyrka, where internally displaced children live, and handed the children Christmas gifts. He also had a meeting with the manager of the Caritas – Sokal Charitable Foundation Maryana Yaremchuk, they discussed further cooperation between Caritas – Sokal and German Caritas organizations.
Mayor Serhii Kasyan handed Mike Menna patriotic products and drawings made by children from the Sokal Region. We sincerely thank the District Association of People with Disabilities (Oksana Kononova), the inclusive resource center (Hanna Fenchyn), the House of Children’s and Youth Creativity (Maria Polishchuk), the Sokal Children’s Art School named after Viktor Matyuk (Oksana Dumanska) for the products provided.
Products made by children from Ukraine will be sold at a charity auction in Germany, and the proceeds will be used to support the Ukrainian military.
