An ambulance and a pickup truck – these are the gifts that international philanthropists have made for Ukraine’s defenders.
The school family of Lesya Ukrainka Lyceum No. 4 in Drohobych told us about this, and they inspired international patrons with their own example of volunteering.
The students and their parents have repeatedly held various charity events, fairs and projects to raise funds and purchase the necessary supplies for the defenders of Ukraine’s borders.
Thus, the students of the 2nd grade took part in the project “My Ukraine – all washed with tears, my whole body is covered with wounds…”. The project consisted of two parts: a photo shoot of a student with one of the wounded Heroes, which resulted in a positive decision to provide free prosthetics to 21 soldiers in America. The final part of the project is a video that will help 16 more soldiers receive free prosthetics.
Wanting to support the Ukrainian military, who are now bravely defending the country at the front, the benefactors decided to purchase and transfer two more cars. In turn, the school family communicated with the military and handed over these cars to them.
