The Lviv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology reported that an extreme (class 5) fire hazard will remain in the city of Lviv and the Lviv region from July 20 to 23
The City Hall of Lviv urges everyone to observe the rules of fire safety – not to burn dry grass, garbage and dead trees, not to make fires in places not designated for this purpose.
In particular, the city administration for emergency situations, civil protection of the population and territorial defense reminds that the ignition of dry vegetation, forest plantations and peat during high fire danger can lead to large-scale fires that will pose a threat not only to the environment, residential buildings and infrastructure, but and life and health of people. Therefore, you should follow fire safety rules and handle fire with care.
