In May 2024, 7,320 internally displaced persons were accommodated in the private housing sector in Lviv region.
For example, the Department of Fuel and Energy Complex, Energy Efficiency and Housing and Communal Services of the Lviv Regional State Administration submitted an application for funding to compensate for the costs of accommodation (stay) of IDPs in May 2014 in the amount of UAH 3,311,464.
It is worth reminding that in April 2024, 7,436 internally displaced persons were accommodated in the private housing sector in the Lviv region. The total amount of compensation paid to owners of private housing who accommodated internally displaced persons in these premises free of charge in April 2024 was UAH 3,267,670.
“It is worth noting that homeowners who have hosted internally displaced persons should provide correctly filled-in data to local authorities in order to receive compensation, as this will reduce the time required to receive the compensation,” said Bohdan Keivan, director of the Department of Fuel and Energy Complex, Energy Efficiency and Housing and Communal Services of Lviv Regional State Administration.
