The Department of Emergency Situations, Civil Protection and Territorial Defense of Lviv continues to accept mercury and mercury-containing devices from residents for further processing and disposal.
Since the beginning of the year, specialists have already accepted 4.1 kg of metallic mercury, 195 medical and 12 laboratory thermometers, 1 tonometer from residents of the city and region, and also registered 278 appeals from residents in this regard.
Mercury in any containers is accepted on working days from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the address: Lviv, str. Donetska, 7, room No. 201.

By the way, last year, 8.8 kg of metallic mercury, 2,650 technical and 208 medical thermometers were accepted from the residents of the city and region. They also processed 320 appeals from citizens in this regard.
