In bulletproof vests from the Lviv Defence Cluster: how children are evacuated from the frontline and the forefront

LOC handed over 500 children’s evacuation kits to the Juvenile Police of Ukraine.

Some of the evacuation kits manufactured by the Lviv Defence Cluster are actively “working” at the front line, helping to evacuate children from the areas of active hostilities. In particular, in the Donetsk region, each White Angel police crew is equipped with children’s protective kits.

Recently, the White Angels evacuated 7-year-old Roman from the village of Novoselivka Persha together with his 15-year-old brother, 19-year-old sister and mother. The family took their pets with them – three dogs and four cats. They also received small gifts from the police.

Enemy shells have repeatedly exploded near Roma’s house. The first-grader used to hide from the shelling in the hall because there are no windows. Now the family is safe and settling down in Zhytomyr region.

The Roma boy was evacuated wearing a children’s bulletproof vest from LOC – Lviv Defence Cluster, which the LOC team developed specifically at the request of the Juvenile Police of Ukraine.

LOC donated 550 evacuation kits (bulletproof vests + helmets) to help police officers protect children during rescue from the frontline areas.
